Lectures: 24 hours
Indicative Syllabus:
Materials:
Texts for translation will be drawn from a variety of sources e.g.
technical reports, specialist journal articles, technical manuals and
promotional material, on topics covering different areas of science and
technology.
Assessment:
Two hour translation exam (250-400 words) at end of semester two 100%
N.B. Monolinugal and bilingual dictionaries, thesauri and student
glossaries (printed or handwritten) are permitted.
